Summary/Objective

Gage Cannabis Company is an Adult Use cannabis dispensary in Ayer, Massachusetts. Gage is
committed to creating a premium experience for cannabis consumers through providing excellent
products and expert advice in a comfortable atmosphere. We are currently seeking an Assistant
Dispensary Manager.

The Assistant Dispensary Manager works closely with the Dispensary Manager and dispensary staff
to ensure operational compliance within the dispensary. The Assistant Dispensary Manager reports
to the Dispensary Manager.


Essential Functions
● Maintain the highest level of presentation and elevated customer experience.
● Follow Gage policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
● Ensure strict inventory controls during opening, dispensing, and closing procedures.
● Ability to multitask, problem solve and troubleshoot issues as needed.
● Ensure product dispensing, inventory management, cash management, and audits are all
functioning at the highest level of integrity through leadership and compliance controls.
● Help prepare and deliver content for weekly dispensary meetings.
● Ensure supply of office and accessory inventory.
● Facilitate the transfer of products to and from the dispensary.
● Ensure our menu is updated and accurate at all times across all platforms.
● Managing incoming client emails/communications to enhance relationship building.
● Personnel management and continuous training.
● Maintaining, reviewing and updating all dispensary SOP’s.
● Recruiting, hiring, on-boarding and training of new dispensary staff.
● Participating in and leading in store events.
● Ensure standards of quality, health, and safety are met throughout staff.
● Assist with scheduling of dispensary staff.
● Analyze sales data to understand trends and set staff goals.
● Create and implement marketing initiatives to drive demand.
● Create clear written communication initiatives to staff and customers.


Education and Experience
● Previous retail management or customer service experience required.
● Previous leadership/management experience preferred.
● Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in marketing, management, business
administration, accounting, or similar.
● Knowledge of cannabis is preferred.

● Experience working in a regulated industry is preferred.

Requirements
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
● Must be highly organized with an exceptional attention to detail.
● Experience managing staffs with multiple departments.

● Must be able to pass a full background check.
