The Patient Accounts Representative manages all aspects of claims processing for one or more insurances including charge and payment entry, monitoring timely payment from insurance companies, reviewing and, if appropriate, appealing insurance denials and responding to patient questions concerning billing issues. This position is also responsible for responding to incoming patient calls regarding billing issues, registration, processing questions, accounts receivable and patient statements regarding balances due.


· High school diploma or equivalent.

· One plus years of medical office billing experience.

· Excellent customer service skills required.

· Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and perform under pressure.

· Electronic medical record and practice management software experience a plus.
