Our Optical department is responsible for providing eyeglasses and contact lenses to patients. We are responsible for working directly with patients during sales, ordering their product, creating eyeglasses, dispensing, etc. There are many different areas one could work in within our department. We have sales floors in 5 locations in central Massachusetts, and 1 central ordering lab located in our Gardner location. We are looking for a person who is the right fit for our team. Our team is friendly, hard working and dedicated to their profession. We have a mix of Licensed Opticians, Apprenticing Opticians, Lab employees along with support staff.

This position will work in a fast pace environment and you will be required to adapt to this type of environment. To be successful you would need to maintain accuracy, learned knowledge and customer service skills while also being a reliable team player.

Candidates could possibly work directly with patients on the sales floor, help with administrative tasks, or maybe appointment scheduling/front desk work. Shifts depend on role filled. Possible shifts may be Monday-Friday only or shifts including the sales floor would need to work alternating Saturdays 8-5 and one evening until 8:00 pm.

If you are an active MA Licensed Optician or optical apprentice do not hesitate to apply but licensure and experience is not required.
