Today we are recruiting for a Staff Accountant to join the Finance team in our Arlington, MA corporate headquarters.


The Staff Accountant is responsible for the maintenance of various subsidiary ledgers as well as account analysis and reconciliation, and assisting in the monthly accounting close, including journal entry preparation. Successful candidates must be able to work well with others while pursuing team goals for productivity and innovation.

This full-time position reports to the Accounting Director. It is a hybrid position with 3-4 days in the office per month preferred.

 Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements and supporting reports.
  • Perform general account analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements, accruals, and prepaid expenses.
  • Maintain fixed asset ledger, depreciation, and reconciliation.
  • Manage compliance with ASC842 Lease Accounting and ASC606 Revenue Recognition
  • Responsible for payroll entries and accruals using ADP GL interface.
  • Tax compliance and filings including multi-state sales & use tax, property tax, and estimated income taxes
  • Integral contributor to the annual financial statement audit, physical inventory, and quarterly reviews.
  • Develop relationships across the organization and engage in regular consultation and collaboration with other branches/departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information.
  • Other ad hoc projects, as assigned.


  • Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Proficiency with Excel including advanced formulas.
  • Experience with ERP system a plus 
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting and thorough knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Excellent time and resource management skills.
