Job Description:
General Statement of Duties
The Testing Services Assistant serves as a member of the Testing Services team in a front line position. This staff member works to schedule a variety of tests for current students and outside examinees as well as to maintain statistical data for the office. The Testing Services Assistant also responds to phone call and email requests from staff and students, providing a high level of customer services to the MWCC community.
Responsibilities
  • Provide a high level of customer service to Testing Services customers and MWCC staff;
  • Perform daily site opening (including, but not limited to: starting up computers, organizing scheduled daily tests, checking voicemails and emails);
  • Schedule tests for both in-house and distance education students;
  • File test request forms, test copies, and reports;
  • Record testing data to shared Excel files;
  • Verify payment has been made for all fee-based testing;
  • Proctor Accuplacer and TEAS examinations in compliance with testing agency regulations;
  • Work with Testing Services team to maintain Testing Center Calendar including placement testing, TEAS, CLEP, and DSST schedules;
  • Work with Testing Services team to protect the security of all tests and confidential student paperwork.

Requirements:
  • Knowledge and operation of standard office equipment including computers, phones, photocopiers, and shredders;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Excel

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
