The office of Housing & Residential Services is seeking a federal aid recipient for student employment. This position will be funded by federal work study dollars; only students that receive financial aid awards can be considered for this specific role. Please see below the specific duties and responsibilities of the position.


Job Requirements:


Requirements:

1. Serve as the first point of contact for the Housing Office.

2. Provide quality customer service to students, faculty & staff, and guests.

3. Respond to customers' questions and concerns via phone and email.

4. Assist with Housing events such as move-in and move-out, conferences

5. Create general electronic communication for students regarding updates or upcoming events.

6. Create and maintain spreadsheets, PowerPoints, and word documents pertaining to housing operations.

7. Reach out to students to follow up on their housing plans, among other updates.

8. Navigate THD to look up students, housing assignments, change meal plans, and update information.

9. Assist with Parking Services by providing parking passes and answering questions regarding parking rules and regulations.

10. Submit work orders when students report maintenance issues.

11. Remove and store students' belongings while following the abandoned property procedure.

12. Check in and out moving bins when needed.

13. Perform benchmarking in identified housing programs marketing to evaluate for new trends.

14. Assist with conducting inventory audits for residence hall common and personal room spaces.

15. Assist with room consolidations should they take place.

16. Create and maintain an electronic file for the department to utilize as templates and resources for future operations.

17. Assist with community and public outreach related events and programming.

18. Have biweekly one-on-one meetings with your direct supervisor.

19. Schedule meetings as requested with department staff.

20. Enforce housing policies, guidelines and procedures when necessary.

21. All other duties as assigned.


Additional Information:


Shift Information: Part time, non-benefited student only position. Up to 20 hours per week at $14.25 per hour.
