NATURAL NAIL TECHNICIAN
Body Mind Spirit Salon and Day Spa is a welcoming boutique salon located in Groton, Massachusetts. We are a Green Circle Salon, recycling most of our waste. We are also a Covid-19 Hygienically Clean Salon.
Our Natural Nail Technician will be a part of our professional team. As a natural nail salon, we are committed to never using products that could cause harm to our clients or our staff. That means using non-toxic products that don't create the fumes and odors you'll find in typical nail salons. We are 100% committed to providing a safe, healthy, and clean environment for all. Our non-toxic polishes include brands like ZOYA and Dazzle Dry. We are planning to add Dip Nail Services to our menu. If you’d like to be a part of our team, continue reading!
A Natural Nail Technician should:
- Be certified and skilled in the area of natural nail care.
- Adhere to appointments in a timely manner by monitoring time schedule.
- Welcome clients in a warm, friendly manner, accompanying them to and from treatment areas, and thanking them sincerely on departure.
- Interview clients to obtain information about contraindications, and examining skin to evaluate suitability of treatments.
- Maintain product knowledge to promote and sell spa and salon services, and retail products.
- Adhere to esthetics policies pertaining to chemical usage, and cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance of equipment.
- Care for linens and replacing them between sessions.
- Meet revenue goals, ensure client retention and build a solid client base.
Natural Nail Technician Requirements:
- State licensure to practice as a Nail Technician
- Proficient in performing all applicable treatments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding people skills and warm, friendly manner
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality
Being Multi-Licensed is desirable, but not mandatory
