Universal Banking Associate
Location: Groton, MA
This position is part-time; approximately 20 hours per week. The candidate will be required to work a flexible schedule and occasionally work additional hours based on operational need. The Branch hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00 am 5:00 pm, Thursdays 9:00 am 6:00 pm and Saturdays 9:00 am -1:00 pm. Branch staff operational hours will be scheduled between 8:00 am to 6:15 pm.
The salary range for this role is from $23.00 - $24.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
You’re the first face our members see and the most important memory when they need legendary customer service. As our Universal Banking Associate, you will perform various duties to ensure the successful operations of the Branch.
Every day we’ll rely on you to perform duties as Teller, which include processing all member transactions efficiently and accurately, resolving more complex balancing errors, opening & closing the branch, ordering cash, balancing the drawer, ATM, and ITM; and Assisting the Area Logistics Coordinator in their daily duties. You will also be responsible for opening new accounts, cross selling credit union products and services; and completing consumer loan applications. You will also work with the Members on the Workers Way process, including Welcome, Discovery and Follow up appointments.
To thrive in this role, you must have one to two years of Teller experience, with Supervisory experience preferred. You must also have a genuine interest in connecting with people and building relationships. Earning trust in relationships with others by consistently demonstrating integrity (honesty, consistency, and reliability) and professional competence are key!
