Technology Summer Student Assistant
Description

We are seeking a student who is available to onboard quickly, joining our technical team for the summer - and possibly beyond - in meeting the needs of our colleagues. Under the supervision of our CTO or delegated technical staff, the IT Intern assists the technology team in handling a variety of tasks, both onsite and at any of our Banking Center locations. You have the opportunity to help our colleagues resolve issues so they can serve the needs of our clients. We are looking for a resourceful, self-motivated individual with an attitude of positivity and a desire to grow his or her skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND JOB DUTIES: 

  • Assist with help desk calls, scheduling, and tickets. 
  • Provide basic end-user support for basic technical issues. 
  • Administer and maintain end user accounts, permission and access rights.
  • Maintain and update desktop and laptop images.
  • Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot end user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
  • Assist in preparing technology for new hires.
  • Provides technology support, as needed for business applications.
  • Assist CTO and technology team in ongoing projects.
  • Deliver and install hardware to our colleagues at our Banking Centers.
  • Perform other related duties as required. 
Requirements

  

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and process improvement skills.
  • A practiced learner of new technologies and capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Service oriented  attitude; ability to model LifeDesign in all situations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid driver's license; ability to drive to all locations in the Fidelity Bank footprint.
