Career Opportunity: Member Service Representative I

Location: Lunenburg Branch / Member Information Center
Schedule: Full time: 40 hours

Workers Credit Union is seeking highly motivated individuals who are passionate and focused on providing exceptional customer service interactions and who are looking for the opportunity to learn and grow with a great company.

Responsibilities include:
• General responsibilities include answering incoming telephone calls from members concerning personal accounts, Workers’ products/services, resolving member problems and educating members on products and services that will help them with their financial goals
• Participating as part of a team
• Continuous knowledge building
• Working with multiple departments to identify improvements and solve member needs
• Adhering to departmental and organizational policies and procedures

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
• Positive attitude and approach to work
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of problem solving and active listening skills to resolve member concerns
• Fast learner and receptive to feedback
• Strong and empathetic communication skills
• Flexible and comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Candidates are required to represent Workers’ in a courteous and professional manner and maintain the confidentiality of all member data
• Knowledge of credit union products, services, procedures, and all State & Federal banking regulations a plus
• Bilingual skills, specifically in Spanish, Portuguese and/or Hmong, are a plus
