Victoria Downes Vice President, Equity Alliance for Business Eastern Bank

Victoria Downes is a banking leader, strategist, and educator who operates at the intersection of finance, entrepreneurship, and equity. As a Vice President with Eastern Bank’s Equity Alliance for Business program, she provides relationship-based banking, capital access strategies, and practical business guidance to help entrepreneurs strengthen, scale, and sustain their companies.

With nearly 20 years of entrepreneurial and consulting experience, Victoria brings a dual perspective that bridges the gap between banking and the realities of running a business. Her background spans small business program design, capacity-building, and community partnership development, equipping her to support founders with both technical expertise and cultural fluency.

As a woman, immigrant, and business owner herself, Victoria understands firsthand the systemic barriers facing entrepreneurs. Whether she is advising business owners, facilitating learning spaces, or collaborating with community partners, her mission is consistent: expand access, strengthen entrepreneurial ecosystems, and help businesses grow on their own terms.
