If you are a parent, an adult who fills a role of caregiver, coach, mentor, teacher, youth volunteer, you'll want to attend a special event on Thursday, May 25th, at Worcester State University when The Bridge of Central Mass. and the SHINE Initiative host "Teen Talk: Understanding Teenages, What's Expected, What's Not, and How to Access Mental Health Services and Supports."
Dr. Barent Walsh, senior clinical consultant at The Bridge, will discuss stages of brain development in young people. A panel discussion will follow featuring teens, parents and service providers. The event, which will be held in the WSU Ghosh Science & Technology Center Lecture Hall, is free and begins at 6:00pm with refreshments and a resource fair, followed by the speakers.
