FORT DEVENS MUSEUM POW/MIA CHAIR OF HONOR DEDICATION SEPTEMBER 21
Saturday September 21 at 1:00 PM Museum Open 10 AM to 3 PM
At present, over 82,000 Americans remain missing from World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Cold War, the Gulf Wars, and other recent conflicts. The POW/MIA Chair of Honor program was created to remind all of us about this everlasting impact on soldiers, their families, and our county. A POW/MIA chair in any location is to remain perpetually empty to help people remember that even though our soldiers are not here, there is still a space for them.
Please join us at the Fort Devens Museum on Saturday September 21st at 1:00 PM as we dedicate a POW/MIA Chair of Honor in the museum. This ceremony will honor our POWs/MIAs and dedicate a permanent space in the museum for those to whom we say: "You are not forgotten."
