Anxiety Management with a Student Perspective
Wednesday, May 25
6:00 - 7:30 PM
(an online event: REGISTRATION REQUIRED)
Presented by two experts, a clinician and a student, who will share their experiences with learning to create new patterns to deal with anxiety. The pandemic has brought a global spotlight to the prevalence of anxiety and a growing awareness of its toll on youth in particular. It is crucial not only to understand how anxiety works, but also to have concrete skills to manage it when it shows up at home or school. Anxiety can be really tricky and adults can sometimes unintentionally intervene in ways that are not helpful over the long term.
