Using a combination of tapping and strumming techniques\, this instrument weaves a web of root-rumbling lows and sparkling highs. Vocalist Emilie Faucher fronts the band with authenticity\, powerful poetic lyrics\, and a magnetic open-hearted energy. Mac Ritchey brings an unusual instrument to the mix\, the electric oud.
