The Mark Marquis Trio

\nThe newly formed \;Mark Marquis \;Trio \;will make their Bull Run debut on September 2. Joining guitarist Mark will be pianist/vocalist \;Lizzy Marquis \;and drummer \;Dave Bergeron. Approaching the \;music from a trio format allows Marquis and company to explore his music in a new and exciting way.

\nMarquis is known for putting his own guitar stylings on whatever repertoire he presents\, &ldquo\;running the gamut&rdquo\;\, from jazz to blues to original compositions. Mark\, a virtuoso guitarist\, has been playing professionally from an early age and has performed with some of the finest jazz and blues musicians.
\n
\nAs a player\, Mark knows and can play in the styles of John Coltrane\, Thelonius Monk\, Miles Davis as well as Jimi Hendrix and Wes Montgomery. Growing up\, he also studied the classical repertoire of Chopin\, Ravel and Bach on the piano. This variety of music has somehow made its way into the sounds of Mark Marquis. He has recorded and released a number of original CDs. \;

\nIn 2016 Mark won the \;Lifetime Achievement Award \;at the \;Worcester Music Awards!
