DESCRIPTION:April 18 \n\nThe First Symposium of the UMASS Dartmouth Community Engaged Research Initiative\n\n9:30 - 1:30 PM\n\nUMass Dartmouth's Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship \n\n151 Martine Street\, Fall River\n\nThe UMass Dartmouth Community Engaged Research Initiative began in 2015 to bring academics and community organizations of many kinds together in community engaged research partnerships. This Symposium features the very best of these local partnerships to highlight work in health care\, special educational needs\, HIV/AIDS work\, local industry\, art and urban architecture\, and teen relational violence.\n\nLunch is included and networking for further academic-community partnerships is highly encouraged! We will be compiling a database of those who wish to participate in future collaborations.\n\nFor further information about the conferences\, contact Prof. Robin Robinson at rrobinson@umassd.edu\n\nQuestions about registration\, contact Stefanie.picard@umassd.edu.\n\nBoth events are free\, but space is limited.
