His father\, a professional guitarist and vocalist\, influenced Steven to study electric bass and voice. During his teens he studied voice with the great bass baritone\, Ron Nadeau. At nineteen Steven graduated from the Modern School of Music\, and freelanced as a bassist in Boston's jazz scene.\n\n\n\nHe recently completed the recording of his new album\, "These Days\," and is conducting a Northeast tour this year to promote the new recording.\n\n\n\nHis lyrics reflect the images of his surroundings\; growing up in Fall River\, MA\, exploring the tidal marshes of the Mount Hope Bay and watching the changes in the once thriving city as the textile industry closed down\, as well as time spent in North Carolina and Concord\, MA.\n\n\n\nSteven has written hundreds of songs\, and performed across the country. He is an accomplished fingerstyle guitarist\, pianist and vocalist\, influenced by musical greats including Jackson Browne\, James Taylor\, Dougie Maclain and even Bach.
