DESCRIPTION:Please join us on Saturday\, December 3rd from 4:00-6:30 p.m. for a special lecture and champagne reception.\n\nNicholas Nicholson\, Senior Vice President at Freeman's Auction in Philadelphia\, will present a talk on the extraordinary life of the Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna (1890-1958)\, and two imperial icons created as gifts for her 1908 wedding.\n\nA reception will follow with refreshments\, champagne\, and music of the season presented by Master's students in opera at Longy School of Music of Bard College\, under the direction of Miss Donna Roll.\n\nPrince Dmitri Romanoff Ilyinsky\, great-nephew of Grand Duchess Maria and the senior male descendant of the House of Romanoff\, will attend the event.\n\n\n\n \nMuseum Members: $25/Nonmembers $30\n\nThere is very limited seating for this event.
