DESCRIPTION:In an effort to promote shopping local and supporting the local business community\, the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce is launching their 3rd Annual "Shop Local & Win" campaign in November.  Each year this campaign is possible because of the financial support of businesses that help to underwrite this program.  \n\n\n\nThis year's sponsors include:  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPinards Florist & Landscaping\n\nNikopoulos Insurance Agency\n\nMurphy Insurance Agency\n\nFidelity Bank\n\nClinton Savings Bank \n\nEastern Bank\n\n\n\n\n\nTo participate in the drawing\, area residents could redeem their receipts at the chamber office. For every $50 spent in the Nashoba Valley Chamber region\, consumers were entered to win $1\,000.  When consumers shopped at a member of the Nashoba Chamber\, their entries were tripled.  Last year expectations that were set during our inaugural event were exceeded   over 275 consumers participated while accounting for over $109\,000 spent in the Nashoba Valley Region.   We anticipate that this year we will once again exceed last year's numbers.  Additionally\, several Nashoba Valley Chamber businesses participated by submitting receipts on their customers behalf (no confidential information was exchanged)\, including ISS of Shirley\, Conway Sales and Service of Pepperell\, and Wanda's Unique Boutique of Townsend.  \n\n\n\nNEW this year - we introduce "Double Day"\n\nA Double Day is a day when receipts from a particular company on a particular day are doubled.  See calendar below (click to expand).  Example would be on Wednesday\, November 18th any purchases at 110 Grill in Chelmsford are doubled in value.  \n\n\n\n\n\nSmall businesses are the foundation of our community.  They create jobs\, build our economy\, and create neighborhoods.  When you shop at our local small businesses\, you help to support the things that make our community great. Money spent here\, stays here. The Nashoba Valley Chamber encourages all to consider shopping local throughout the year.
