The celebration will kick off with a Ribbon Cutting and will include refreshments. \n\n \n\nSalt & Light Caf -Bistr serves up Rustic New American cuisine at 159 Main Street in the center of Groton. The space offers a distinct split between bistro and cafe. The bistro side is made up of custom built tables and bench from a 200 year old local tree. The relaxed\, yet chic\, cafe side includes comfortable seating in more of a living room/lounge setting\, that invites you stay and linger. Open for breakfast and lunch Monday-Saturday\, with availability in the evenings for private events. Plans to open for dinner and live music events are in the future. The owners' vision was to create an environment where customers felt welcomed and taken care of as well as being served good\, quality food\, that was thoughtfully put together.\n\n \n\nSalt & Light uses only fresh produce and meats\, with most everything else\, from syrups\, jams\, sauces\, desserts and breads\, made in-house. While there are specific hours for breakfast and lunch\, their fair trade\, organic coffee\, loose-leaf tea and fresh baked offerings are available all day.
