DESCRIPTION:Everyone is invited to join in the celebration of the opening of Applewild at Devens on Tuesday\, September 23\, 2014 at 11am.  The Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce (NVCoC) will be there with big scissors and ribbon to perform the ribbon cutting ceremony at 27 Jackson Road\, Devens MA. \n\n \n\nApplewild was founded in 1957 by the Crocker family to honor their father's dream. Applewild ever since has retained a palpable sense of family and community. As the school has grown and prospered\, it has maintained its emphasis on effective partnership with parents and individual relationships based on mutual trust and respect.  The location at Devens will continue the Applewild tradition.  Applewild at Devens will offer the same curriculum-based preschool program as on the main campus in Fitchburg including: Department of Early Education and Care certified staff\, a new\, modern facility overlooking a nature-based playground\, enriched literacy\, science and math curriculum\, art studio\, yoga\, music\, and movement\, outdoor classroom\, nature exploration\, and gardening. In addition to the preschool program\, the facility will serve as a transportation hub for students attending the K-8 school in Fitchburg\, including after-school homework help and activities for the older students.\n\n \n\nPlease join us on Tuesday\, September 23\, 2014 at 11am.
