DESCRIPTION:Join us for the opening reception for Monochrome\, a members' exhibition at ArtsWorcester. Monochrome comes as the next installment of our annual Call and Response collaboration with the Fitchburg Art Museum (FAM). A loan of 10 works from FAM serves as the "call"\, this year each with their own dominant color palette. ArtsWorcester artist members were then asked to take inspiration from at least one of the works on loan for their submission\, their own original work serving as the "response".\n\n \n\nPublic reception: Friday\, March 7\, 6:00 - 9:00 PM\n\nArtsWorcester\, 44 Portland Street\, Worcester MA\n\nThis event is free and open to the public // Cash bar\n\n \n\nAt the opening reception\, curatorial staff from the Fitchburg Art Museum will select ten works from Monochrome to be shown alongside the original loan back at the museum.
