DESCRIPTION:8/31/15 Update:  Great news. John Golnik\, regional director of Mass. Office of Business Development\, will join us for the Public Policy Committee meeting tomorrow at 8 a.m.   He joins Larry Andrews\, CEO of Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation.  This meeting is a terrific opportunity for any chamber member who needs assistance from state government\, including access to loans.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n8/27/15 Update:  Senator Eldridge has canceled his visit.  Meeting will continue with a great presentation by Mr. Andrews.  Both bankers and businessmen will want to hear what Larry Andrews has to say.  Mr. Andrews is CEO of the Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation (www.massgcc.com).  MGCC is a state organization that lends money to create jobs and grow businesses.   MGCC also partners with banks to enable loans for businesses that might not otherwise qualify.  MGCC's mission is to create and preserve jobs at small businesses\, women and minority owned businesses\, and to promote economic development in under-served\, gateway municipalities and low and moderate income communities.    \n\n \n\n\n\nJoin us at our September 1st Public Policy Meeting where we will be joined by Senator Jamie Eldridge.  Senator Eldridge is the Chair of the Joint Committee on Financial Services\, Vice Chair of the Joint Committee on State Administration and Regulatory Oversight and a member of the Joint Committee on Mental Health and Substance Abuse (to name a few).
