Please extend this invitation to others who may be interested. \n\n\n\nWhen: Thursday\, November 2\, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:15 p.m.\n\n\n\nWhere:  Devens Common Center\, 31 Andrews Parkway\, Devens\, MA\n\n\n\nKeynote Speaker: David Vallee\, Hydrologist-in-Charge of the National Weather Service Northeast River Forecast Center on the subject of "Climate Trends in New England and Their Impact on River Flood Behavior"  \n\n\n\nThe Northeast River Forecast Center provides detailed water resource and life-saving flood forecasting services to National Weather Service (NWS) Forecast Offices and to the hundreds of federal\, state and local water resource entities throughout the Northeast and New York.  David has worked for the National Weather Service for 28 years\, and he has extensive experience leading hydro-meteorological forecast and warning operations and directing weather research and training programs. David served as the NWS lead investigator with the SUNY Albany on a multi-year project on Land Falling Tropical Cyclones in the Northeastern U.S. which improved the forecasting of heavy precipitation associated with these cyclones. His outreach and education work on the behavior of New England Hurricanes has included many appearances on local radio and T.V. networks as well as on the Weather Channel\, the History Channel\, and the Discovery Channel.
