DESCRIPTION:The Operational Services Division?s Supplier Diversity Office\, in collaboration with Governor Baker?s Office of Access and Opportunity and the Massachusetts Office of Business Development\, is hosting the MA Supplier Diversity Regional Series (The Series)\, which kicks off in Lawrence on October 27 and continues through October and November\, traveling to Worcester (November 3)\, Roxbury (November 5)\, New Bedford (November 13)\, and Springfield (November 18).\n\n \n\nWe cordially invite you to attend the event being held at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday\, November 3\, at The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester where you will meet with state\, municipal\, and private buyers\, and Statewide Contract Vendors to discuss potential business partnership opportunities. Full event details are available on the event registration page.\n\n \n\nThe Series goals are to assist small and diverse businesses by:\n\n \n\n?             Increasing the marketplace of business opportunities for small and diverse enterprises in Massachusetts\;\n\n?             Convening procurement representatives from state\, municipal\, and private organizations with small and diverse business owners\;\n\n?             Promoting networking between small and diverse businesses with buyers and key procurement decision makers\; and\n\n?             Providing small and diverse businesses with access to capacity-building resources.\n\n \n\nThe November 3 event is being held in partnership with the City of Worcester. In addition to inviting purchasing representatives from surrounding communities to partner with us by attending this event\, we also plan to engage local development and non-profit organizations that support small and diverse enterprises in Massachusetts.\n\n \n\nWe hope you will join us as we engage the small and diverse businesses of Massachusetts in meaningful conversations and potential partnerships.
