The goal of the workshops is to provide this information to municipal officials and other stakeholders to aid them in the development of bylaws/ordinances to reduce stormwater runoff and fund programs to maintain stormwater infrastructure.\n\n \n\nAdoption and enforcement of local bylaws/ordinances can allow municipalities to maintain local control of stormwater issues while improving local surface-water quality and ground-water recharge. \n\n \n\nThe first workshop will take place on June 15\, 2011\, 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Gardner Levi Heywood Memorial Library\, 55 West Lynde Street\, Gardner. Refreshments will be provided. \n\n \n\nThis initial workshop will have speakers from the MRPC\, the MRWC\, the Mass DEP and a local community with a LID Bylaw.
