Rather than mimicking the Dead exactly\, A Fine Connection chooses to tap into Jerry's energy and style as a foundation on which to build. The result is healthy balance of creativity and tradition. Just like Garcia himself\, the band is constantly pushing the envelope\, growing together as musicians and performers. Jim Stevens: guitar/vocs\, Daniel Cormier: keys/vocs\, Reed Brewer: bass/vocs\, Bob Belanger: drums/vocs\n\nTHE BRUCE MANDARO BAND - Was Nomimated for Best Groove/Jam band in Worcester Magazine's 2007 Turtle Boy Awards. Bruce was the founder of Slipknot\, (now known as The Knot) which was active around the New England area for 30 years.
