DESCRIPTION:Check out this months Art Exhibit at Reuben Hoar Library - FMC Devens Inmate Art. Details at https://www.littletonma.org/reuben-hoar-library/about-us/pages/gallery-rhl-fmc-devens-inmate-art Every inmate works within FMC Devens\, and receives pay once a month. From their pay inmates can purchase art supplies such as\; drawing paper\, pencils\, watercolors\, acrylics\, etc. The inmates who made these pieces of art do so on their own free time\, in Recreation. FMC Devens does provide art classes ranging in skill level from Introduction to Drawing to Advanced Painting at no expense to the inmate. Several pieces in this exhibit were created from the inmates that had taken the Introduction to Drawing course this last year.
