DESCRIPTION:Lazarus House in Lawrence\, MA invites you to help us raise awareness and funds on Sunday\, October 2\, 2016!! Gather family\, friends\, co-workers\, your club\, groups or organization\, and anyone who would like\, to "FIGHT POVERTY ONE STEP AT A TIME." The walk includes a 3-mile loop around the picturesque town of Andover. Throughout the day participants enjoy music\, entertainment\, and a barbecue at the end. We walk to raise much needed funds for the people served by Lazarus House. These funds provide food\, shelter\, clothing\, advocacy\, education\, work preparation\, a listening ear\, a welcoming heart and the restoration of dignity and self-respect to those who are poor and in dire need. In-person registration begins at 11:30am with the walk starting at 1:00pm.
