"Just come share the joy and help us celebrate another Habitat for Humanity success story."\n\n \n\nMonroe-Cassel said that this home was a complete rehabilitation of a derelict property donated to Habitat by the Town of Lancaster. Charlesbank Homes sponsored much of the work with a $50\,000 grant\, according to Monroe-Cassel\, and the rest of the project was underwritten with private donations and fundraising organized by local residents. "We cannot continue our work without the help from local businesses\, hundreds of volunteers and individual donors. This house is the culmination of many people working together\, and what an achievement it is\," she said.\n\n \n\nMonroe-Cassel noted that the project was also selected to be a National Grid Deep Energy Retrofit site\, which helped make the house a model in super energy efficiency.
