The restaurant will specialize in freshly caught seafood and shellfish in addition to steaks\, chops\, burgers and pasta. Great Road Kitchen will also feature extensive wine\, beer and cocktail selections\, indoor\, outdoor and private dining and a designated children's menu. The restaurant is due to open in January 25\, 2016.\n\n \n\nGreat Road Kitchen Oyster Bar and Grill is a personal project for owner Marcus Palmer who has worked with Legal Sea Foods\, Smith & Wollensky as well as celebrity Chef's Todd English\, Michael Schlow and Jean-Georges Vongerichten in London\, NYC and Boston before opening Vine Brook Tavern in Lexington. Growing up in and around Groton and as a current resident Marcus is very excited that now he gets to come home.\n\n \n\nGreat Road Kitchen is conceived as an extension of a large eat-in kitchen where family and friends would gather to eat\, drink\, talk and enjoy each other's company. While freshly shucked shellfish and fresh seafood take center stage\, the menu also offers steaks\, chops\, chicken\, a signature burger and house-made pasta.\n\n \n\nGreat Road Kitchen  will offer up to 20 wines by the glass\, many craft brews and a big craft cocktail list as extensive as you'd find downtown. There is indoor\, outdoor and private dining. Great Road Kitchen will offer cooking lessons\, wine classes and occasionally live music.\n\n \n\nThe restaurant is located in The Point\, the first mixed-use retail destination of its kind in Boston's Metro Northwest. Located at the intersection of I-495 (Exit 31) and Route 119 in Littleton\, MA. the project covers 540\,000 square feet and includes 400\,000 square feet of retail\, a state-of-the-art entertainment complex by O'neil Cinemas\, Class A office space\, a health club\, and a Courtyard by Marriott. \n\n \n\nThe Point is situated in the heart of the I-495 "Think Belt\," serving more than 250\,000 high-tech workers at nearby technology companies such as IBM\, Red Hat\, Juniper Networks\, and Cisco. \n\n \n\nGreat Road Kitchen Oyster Bar and Grill is located at 613 Constitution Avenue in The Point\, adjacent to the fire pits\, outdoor movie screen and many retail shops.
