An Open House will take place from 9am to 3pm. Everyone is invited to attend the celebration which will include door prizes\, free gifts and more!\n\n \n\n Century Carpet is owned by the husband and wife team of Jean & Christine Coutu\, who have been in the flooring business for over 30 years. Even before graduating high school Jean was installing\, and learning the business. He spent a number of years working for other stores in the area (with the help of his wife Christine). The couple decided that the only way they could be sure the customer was taken care of properly\, would be for them to handle everything personally\, from sale to installation. So with that thought in mind on\, October 1st 1986 Century Carpet was born. Since then Jean & Christine have worked hard to build their business\, and their reputation. \n\n \n\n Century Carpet was started in Pepperell as a shop at home service. For the past 15 years Century Carpet has made it's home in Ayer Massachusetts. The last 13 have been a retail store located at 43 Main Street\, in the Page Moore Building (just under the Billiards Cafe). During that time they have built the business\, and raised their three children. Their oldest son Brian runs one of the installation teams\, and their other two children Kyle and Kimberly can be seen lending a hand at times. Even their grandson pitches in once and a while. \n\n The staff at Century Carpet is friendly and knowledgeable. Andrea who has been with the company for over 12 years\, can care for the customers flooring needs from sale to post installation. Katie is the newest member of the company\, she came to Century with plenty of experience from a design showroom in Arizona. All installers\, & delivery people have been hand-picked by Jean\, to be sure they are fully insured\, and have the required experience needed for his customers. Recently they remodeled and moved to a beautiful new location (21 Main Street Ayer MA).
