DESCRIPTION:Fruitlands Cyclocross Race\n\nSaturday\, October 22\n\nFruitlands Museum (Start is next to the office building.)\n\n8:30AM-3:15 PM (Last race begins at 2:15PM) \n\n\n\nMix adrenaline and art at Fruitlands' Cup of Cyclocross. Riders please register HERE!  \n\n\n\nThe Fruitlands Cup of Cyclocross\, consists of many laps of a short course (1.5 2 miles) featuring pavement\, wooded trails\, grass\, steep hills and obstacles that require riders to quickly dismount\, carry the bike while navigating the obstruction\, and remount. The races usually take between 30 minutes and an hour to complete\, depending on ground conditions.  \n\n\n\nThe race on the grounds of Fruitlands Museum is part of the New England Cyclocross BAR (Best All-Around Rider) Series. The series tracks points for 17 categories/classes over 14 events during the 2016 NE cyclocross campaign. The finals take place in Fitchburg\, MA\, on November 27.\n\n\n\nIf you want to watch this crazy sport\, come to Fruitlands Museum on October 22\, starting at 8:30AM. \n\n\n\nFREE to spectators!\n\n\n\nTo visit the museum buildings while here\, spectators must pay admissions or use their membership.
