DESCRIPTION:*FREE Family Winter Hike at Ayer's Pine Meadow Pond Trails**!*\n\nSaturday\, January 28\, 10am - 12noon.\n\n(Storm date: Feb. 4\, same time.)\n\n\n\nWhat do *porcupines* do to survive in winter? How large have the ice-bound\n\n*beaver* *lodges* grown since fall? You and your family are invited to\n\njoin Laurie Nehring\, Naturalist\, to explore the Habitat Loop Trail and\n\nPorcupine Hill\, where we do indeed know that porcupines are thriving!\n\nPortions of this hike will include some steep trails & optional rock\n\nscrambling.\n\n\n\nDress warmly\, in layers with snow boots\, hats\, & gloves\, water and a light\n\nsnack for children. This program is FREE and open to the public\, thanks to\n\nthe grant support from the Ayer Cultural Council\, which is supported by the\n\nMassachusetts Cultural Council\, a state agency!
