Founded in 1997 in Newton\, MA by Russian immigrants Inessa Rifkin and Irina Khavinson\, and based on the belief that any child can learn to understand and enjoy math\, RSM has grown into one of the largest after-school math enrichment programs in the US\, taught in English and now serving nearly 15\,000 students across 8 states. Inessa and Irina began with a personal mission to help their own children\, and ended up changing the face of math education in the United States.\n\n			A question and answer session with the film's producer\, Elena Ulanovski\, and the co-founder of the Russian School of Math\, Inessa Rifkin\, will follow the film.\n\n			 \n\n			About the Russian School of Mathematics\n\n			The Russian School of Mathematics (RSM)\, an advanced after-school math program for K-12 children\, has developed excellence in mathematics and critical thinking skills since 1997. RSM students consistently post top scores in national and international math competitions and on standardized tests.
