DESCRIPTION:Meet One-on-One with State Economic Development Officials at the Nashoba Valley Chamber\n\nThe Nashoba Valley Chamber is pleased to announce that State Economic Development Officials are returning to the Chamber for Office Hours.\n\nIn partnership with the Massachusetts Office of Business Development (MOBD) and MassDevelopment\, the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce will host state economic development leaders for one-on-one meetings with local developers\, manufacturers\, and business owners.\n\nThese confidential\, 30-minute appointments provide an opportunity to discuss business-specific needs\, expansion plans\, and available state resources that support growth and development.\n\n\n\n \n\nParticipating officials include:\n\n	Kevin Kuros\, Central Massachusetts Director\, MOBD\n	Anne Szender McCarthy\, Vice President of Business Development\, MassDevelopment\n\nAppointments are free\, confidential\, non-discriminatory\, and held in a handicapped-accessible location at the Chamber office.\n\n \n\n \n\nAbout the Participating Agencies\n\nMOBD serves as the state's economic development office and manages the Economic Development Incentive Program (EDIP)\, which offers tax credits for qualifying business expansion projects. MOBD directors also act as navigators for the state's Business Front Door portal\, helping businesses streamline interactions with state agencies. In addition\, MOBD houses the Massachusetts Center for Employee Ownership (MassCEO)\, which supports businesses exploring employee ownership models often as part of succession planning.\n\nMassDevelopment\, the state's development finance agency and land bank\, works with businesses\, nonprofits\, banks\, and communities to stimulate economic growth across the Commonwealth. In FY2025\, MassDevelopment financed or managed 409 projects\, generating more than $4.65 billion in investment statewide. These efforts are estimated to create or support 25\,246 jobs and build or preserve 2\,867 housing units.
