Enjoy a great variety of live and memorable musical and dance performances on two festival stages throughout the day - come ready for "dancing in the street"! A Jazz Ensemble Band\, an Electric Blues Band\, a Greek Folk Band\, and an American Bluegrass/Celtic Folk Band\, with an epic Open-to-All Musicians Bluegrass Music Jam will keep you grooving and moving all day long. Original visual art and works of original craft will be on exhibition at the "Festival Arts Knoll". A delectable taste array of Ayer's many local and awesome restaurants and eateries will be offered along the "Festival Foodie Row". Many of Ayer's local organizations\, clubs and associations will be showcased along the "Local Booth Walk"\, where festival-goers can connect with Ayer's local flavor and proud legacy of civic volunteerism. Enjoy a beautiful Autumn afternoon with your family\, neighbors and friends at a traditional New England street festival - Join us for the Downtown Ayer "Heart of Hometown" Festival on Newton Street. \n\n \n\nAdmission to the Festival is free. Free Festival parking is located at the Park Street Commuter Parking Deck Facility\, which is an easy and enjoyable 3-minute walk along Main Street to the Newton Street festival venue.
