Funderburgh recorded with the Fabulous Thunderbirds on their "Butt Rockin'" album. He went solo in 1981 with "Talk to You by Hand" on Black Top Records. After releasing nine albums on Black Top\, he changed to Bullseye and released "Change in my Pocket\," which won several W.C.
