DESCRIPTION:http://www.telegram.com/article/20150920/NEWS/150929972/101358/COULTER01\n\n \nCLINTON - The fourth annual quilt show at the Church of the Good Shepherd\, 209 Union St.\, adjacent to Central Park\, is Saturday\, Sept. 26\, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.\n\nThis year's show will feature many antique quilts\, examples of other heirloom needlework\, as well as some "future heirlooms" made more recently. The show will also highlight some UFOs ("unfinished objects") - individual pieced units\, unquilted tops - which show how quilts are constructed. Many favorites will be returning\, along with some new treasures being shown for the first time this year.\n\nAll the items are brought by members and friends of Good Shepherd. The oldest pieces date back to the late 1800s. There is a selection of quilts from the 1920s and 1930s\, including many examples made of feed sack material. The information known about each quilt is displayed with it.\n\nThe show is held in the main church\, with items displayed in the pews for up-close enjoyment.\n\nAdmission is $5 per person at the door and includes light refreshments.
